Main Entrance:
This is an entrance and exit with double automatic entry doors. The doorway is wide enough for all users and the doors slide open.
There is a Pelican crossing outside.
Wheelchair users can use the entrance unaided.


Platform 4 Entrance:
This is an entrance and exit with double automatic entry doors. The doorway is wide enough for all users and the doors slide open.
There is a Zebra crossing outside.
Wheelchair users can use the entrance unaided.

Accessible ticket machines, accessible ticket office counter and induction loop all available in the main concourse.

Accessible taxis are available from the taxi rank on the station forecourt.

Accessible public telephones available on platforms 2 and 3.

Accessible toilets are available on platforms 1 and 2.
The main entrance doors of the toilets are not automatic.
On platform 1 the entrance door to the toilet opens out, whereas on platform 2 the door opens inwards.
There are grab rails present in both toilets with vertical grab rails on either side of the wash basin. There is are assistance alarms also provided.
There are no baby change facilities available in the platform 1 toilet but is in the platform 2 toilet - these facilities are also accessible to a wheelchair user.

Additional Details:
In the platform 1 toilet there is raised metal strip at the threshold which is protruding 15mm as you enter the accessible toilet which may cause difficulty to some visitors. This drainage grating also spans this length of the Entrance.

The whole station has step free access, with many lifts available to take you from the bridge to the platforms and lobby.

Lifts
The lift car dimensions are sufficient for a wheelchair user and their companion. It has audible announcements and the buttons are also in Braille. An emergency alarm button in easy reach for all users.

Height of the direction button in metres: 1.1

There is an impaired mobility set down spot at the front of the station, in High Street short stay car park.

There are 16 disabled parking spaces. Parking is chargeable for all vehicles, unfortunately this station does not supply any accessible car park equipment.
