Car Park Entrance
This is an entrance and exit with automatic double entry doors. The doorway is wide enough for all users and the doors slide open.
There is no safe crossing outside.
The approach to the entrance may cause difficulty for some users as there are uneven paving slabs on the approach.
Wheelchair users can use the entrance unaided.


Main Entrance
This is an entrance and exit with three sets of automatic double entry doors. The doorway is wide enough for all users and the doors slide open.
There is no safe crossing outside.
The approach to the entrance may cause difficulty for some users as some of the paving slabs prior to the entrance are uneven.
Wheelchair users can use the entrance unaided.

Monday-Sunday 24 hours

Accessible ticket machines are located at the station entrance by the ticket office. There is no accessible ticket office counter, but there are induction loops available at the existing counters. Staff are around if you need assistance.

Ramps are used for train access

Accessible taxis are available. Please request staff assistance.

Accessible low-level Pay Phone is available at the station main concourse. Please request staff assistance if you need to.

Accessible toilets
There is a unisex accessible facility on platform 3 and separate male and female accessible facilities available on platform 13/15.
The entrance doors to these facilities are not automatic and they all open out. They are kept locked and require a RADAR Key, if you do not have one you can acquire one from the station staff.
There are grab rails present in the unisex and female toilets but not in the male toilet. Assistance alarms are present in each toilet, and there is an accessible baby change facility available in the male toilet.

The whole station has step free access, via lifts to all platforms and facilties, ticket office is also step free.

Lifts
The lift car dimensions are sufficient for a wheelchair user and their companion. It has audible announcements and the buttons are also in Braille. There is an emergency alarm button in easy reach for all users and has a separate entrance and exit door.

Impaired mobility set down
Set- Down / Pick up Points are available at the station entrance. Assisted travel meeting point located at the customer information office - Platform 3. Please notify a member of staff.

Disabled parking
There are two different car parks at this station, the short stay car park outside of the main entrance has 10 accessible parking spaces and is free for up to 20 minutes (or £1.70 for up to an hour). A wheelchair user cannot get from the parking area to the station without assistance as the kerbs leading across the road have not been dropped low enough. There are also several cobbled areas on the approach.

The long stay car park has 6 accessible spaces. A wheelchair user can get to the station without assistance. Normal tariff applies.

There is no accessible car park equipment at this station, but an accessible ticket machine is available at the car park. Step free access from the car park to the station
