Brighton has frequent connections to Gatwick Airport, London Victoria and many other London stations toward Bedford. It also provides connections to Salisbury, Bristol and Southampton Central.

Brighton has eight platforms and is staffed Monday-Sunday, 03:45am - 01:45am.

The station has level access across all platforms and the ticket office.

There are two unisex accessible toilets on the right side of the concourse (on the other side of the emergency access road). There are two accessible ticket machines in the concourse next to the ticket office.

The majority of buses in the area are fully accessible with full ramps and space for one wheelchair.

There are 26 disabled parking spaces in the car park, there is also a drop off point with level access outside the car park entrance.
