Banbury station serves services between London Marylebone, Birmingham, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Kidderminster. It also serves local services to London Paddington via Oxford and Reading. Banbury has four platforms and is staffed Monday - Saturday 05:15-01:30 and Sunday 07:00-23:00.

There is level access throughout the station, with lifts to the first floor bridge.

There are three unisex accessible toilets with one on platform 2, one on platform 3 and one on the first floor bridge. The two cubicles on the platforms also have accessible baby change facilities. There are accessible ticket machines in the main concourse and ticket counter is accessible to all.

Accessible parking spaces are available behind the taxi rank outside the main entrance (10 in total).
