How to use the site
There are two ways you can use D-trekkers. How you do depends on whether you want to plan a journey or add to the site.
Looking for information for just one station/city/stop?
Use the search box in the top right hand corner of each page. This way you will find all the pages (including comments, page copy and similar-named places) which mention your query.
Looking for information about a whole journey?
Use the ‘Plan a rail journey’ box on the homepage. This will allow you to click through to all key stops on your journey – from your place of departure, to your destination and even places where you might need to change trains.
Want to edit a page?
Your input is really what makes D-trekkers special. To edit a page, first you need to sign-up or log-in – it takes no time at all. Once you are logged in, you will be able to see an ‘Edit’ button in the centre-right of each station page, between the page title and the map.
The edit button takes you through to a content box where you can add your text. Try and keep this neutral, factual and easy to read. You can edit pages as much as you like.
Want to add a comment?
Comments allow you to share opinions of stations, places, journeys, D-trekkers content itself and anything else that seems relevant to other users. Again, you must be logged in to leave a comment – the comment boxes are then visible at the bottom of the page.
